Company Profile

AWD Productions was founded in 2000 by Jeremy Ledet & Mathew Brown (A.K.A.: J. Ledet & Mr. Brown.). The company is based out of Atlanta, Georgia with 2 satellite studios in Houston, Texas.  The company was founded on the basis of creating innovative and unique instrumentals for artist & providing them with the facilities & expertise to record, mix, & master their projects.

Since its founding AWD Productions, they have worked with many different artist helping them relay their message to the world. These artist have ranged from R&B Singers, Hip-Hop/Rap Artist, DJs, Reggae Bands, Punk Bands, Jazz Bands, & poets.  AWD Productions has the versatility & open-mindedness to work on any project, big or small no matter the genre.

AWD Productions boasts an arsenal of over 250 instrumentals of various styles & genres.  All instrumentals are created, sequenced, mixed down, & mastered by the AWD Productions team.

AWD Productions Team

J. Ledet & Mr. Brown both have a wide range of experience in the field of music.  It began in 1992 when he & Matt Brown met in middle school.  Soon the two were creating freestyle CDs with there DJ at the time, Criminal V, under the name of the S.B.C. 

Then J. Ledet bought his own turntables and the two, along with many other artist (most notably the Crackler), began recording freestyle CDs & selling them to the public.

By 1999, the two had purchased computers & various other recording equipment and began making instrumentals & writing songs.

J.Ledet then began working for a live sound company out of Houston called Sound Master.  He learned many live sound applications and brought them into  the studio.

During this time Mr. Brown began working on his skills at playing both the lead & bass guitars.

By 2001, the two purchased a Roland VS-2480 & a Yamaha RS7000, along other various recording equipment. 

Since the two have worked with many other artist helping them to turn their ideas into reality.

Marcus May joined the camp in 2006 and is currently the VP of AWD's Rap Division.                                                                                                 

Marcus soon after started the group 3 Deep  & together with the rest of the AWD team produced the groups debut album under the AWD Records Recording Label: Triple Threat.

Jose Colon joined AWD Productions as the Director of Marketing in 2006 helping the team with the release of the Triple Threat CD, booking of shows, & overall representation of AWD Productions.

In July of 2008 AWD Productions signs Tony Chila as the new junior producer for the camp.

With Tony's bangerific southern bangalistic beats he is bound to be an excellent addition to the AWD Productions Team.

Currently Jeremy resides in Atlanta, Georgia, operating the main creation/editing/recording/mix-down/mastering studio.  While MR. Brown & Marcus still reside in Houston, Texas, running the two Houston AWD Satellite creation/editing/recording Studios.
